UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A lot of familiar faces will be missing from Penn State’s offense this fall.
Saquon Barkley, one of the finest running backs in program history, is gone.
So is tight end Mike Gesicki, who figures to be an early-round selection in the NFL draft.
And wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton, the Nittany Lions’ all-time leader in receptions.
But despite all that will be different when Penn State opens the 2018 season Sept. 1 against Appalachian State at Beaver Stadium, at least one thing about the offense will not change.
A pretty significant one, too.
