Car Crashes Through Gate at Red Sox's Fenway Park; Police Investigating

A car crashed into Fenway Park's Gate C on Lansdowne Street on Monday morning, striking a forklift driver in the process, according to Frank O'Laughlin of Boston 25 News.

Massachusetts state police said the suspect, 48-year-old Colleen Marie Gibbs, first struck two vehicles in the Ted Williams Tunnel and later crashed at the USGC base on Hanover Street. No passengers in the vehicles struck in the Ted Williams Tunnel sustained injuries.

Gibbs also reportedly fled a police checkpoint in Revere, per Asher Klein of NBC Boston.

A tow truck had to remove Gibbs' 2024 Honda Accord from the gate she crashed through at Fenway Park.
