The Cleveland Indians are effectively out of the playoff race in 2015, so, yet again, it’s time to look forward to next year.
The Indians have vastly underperformed this season and were mild sellers at the trade deadline, but they are by no means a rebuilding club. They don’t need to blow things up yet, and they are a team that is very capable of competing next season. But there are a number of changes that need to be made to the roster to make that possible, and here are a few things that I believe need to be done in this offseason to prepare for 2016:
As I said, the Indians do not need to blow things up and start over.
